Low Poly
I was first exposed to the low poly style whilst brainstorming ideas for another project. Although each piece was simple enough to produce it required a lot of patience drawing and colouring 10,000+ triangles! After producing a few designs I started expanding my subject matter from animals to outer space.
Nebula
After each low poly design I came to the conclusion that the best looking part of each low poly design was clouds and sky. So with that in mind I took that idea and ran with it to turn some stunning space photographs from the Hubble Telescope.
Never Forgotten
What started as project for the anniversary of Kurt Cobain's passing, morphed in to a series remembering celebrities that unfortunately passed away too soon.
Isle of Wight Landmarks
After the experimental stage of making these designs, I decided to try and create something I could sell. after a bit of brainstorming I decided to use the natural landscapes of the Isle of Wight as my muse.
Round The World
These iconic places were used as submissions for an online competition, although I didn't win I was happy enough with how they turned out to include them on here.
Animals
This started as a commission for something but liked it so much I experimented with other animals to see what they'd look like in the low poly style.
Pets
After doing Low Poly versions of my dogs during lockdown, I decided to expand the series by offering to do make low poly prints of my friends pets
